A recommended resource for grief books is Centering Corporation.  They offer books on many areas of grief.  Some such areas are sibling grief, teen grief, children and grief, infant loss, death of a child, men’s grief, women’s grief.  They also publish their own magazine quarterly called “Grief Digest”.  Centering Corporation is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide education and resources for the bereaved.

If your childs death is drug related (overdose, suicide, drugs given by someone) a good informative website is www.friendsdontletfriendsdie.com set up by bereaved parents who lost a child this way - I as the mom of Anke Furber am involved with the "friends team" as we call ourselves. More and more stories are coming in from all over the US, some people choose to have their story on the site, others don't or are not ready to do that yet.

The site has a wealth of information about laws in each state, DEA penalties, Crime Victims Bill of Rights and Compensation, books to read about grieve - just to name a few. You can find TCF on the site too.
